We are looking for an on-site Junior System Administrator who shares our commitment and believes in the value of communication and client interaction. As a Jr IT Systems Administrator, you will:
JR System Administrator Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support in a primarily Microsoft environment on-site at multiple client accounts;
- Cross-train and cover at assigned clients in your area; and
- Document and post procedures.
JR System Administrator Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures clients' IT infrastructures are running smoothly;
- Troubleshoots hardware and software issues on a timely basis;
- Assists Account Leads with projects;
- Stands in for Account Leads, when necessary; and
- Commutes to clients in Chicago and northern/northwest suburbs.
Jr. Systems Administrator Requirements
- Minimum of three years of IT related customer service experience in a helpdesk or call center setting;
- Advanced understanding and troubleshooting skills of desktop and laptop OS's, general applications, anti-virus software, Office 365, printers, TCP/IP and communications protocols;
- Basic understanding of servers and networks;
- Strong technical writing skills;
- Willing to commute to and support multiple clients on-site;
- Commitment to Client service excellence; and
- Creative problem-solving skills.
