Job Description: As a Degreed Junior Accountant with Ag Experience, you'll play a pivotal role in our financial management, with responsibilities including:
- Financial Record-keeping: Ensure accurate and compliant financial records.
- Account Reconciliation: Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for financial efficiency.
- Agricultural Cost Analysis: Analyze and track costs related to agricultural activities.
- Month-end Closing: Contribute to the month-end closing process, including journal entries and financial statement reviews.
- Compliance: Stay informed about accounting regulations, ensuring adherence to industry-specific guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze financial reports for decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles with a focus on agriculture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation: $55,000/Annually
