Reporting to the HR Manager, the Jr. HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties, working closely with senior HR management, and supporting the leadership team of Turn5’s fulfillment centers. The Jr. HR Generalist drives objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the ongoing development of an engaged workforce. This position carries out responsibilities for the following areas: employee relations, workers compensation, absence management, policy implementation and adherence, recruitment support, payroll assistance, onboarding, and all other assigned duties.
Year 1 is going to be about:
- Assist Fulfillment Leadership and HR Manager to manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting effective thorough and objective investigations.
- Administer and track all FMLA, ADA, STD, Parental Leave, and other leave management cases/issues.
- Assist with attendance policy management and disciplinary warnings.
- Ensure consistency and legal compliance on employee matters regarding progressive discipline and leave management.
- Partner with operations management to increase productivity, build morale, and increase employee retention.
- Responsible for coordination of company activities and events throughout the year to provide an exciting culture for employees.
- Processing employee terminations.

- Fantastic oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business field.
- 2-4 years in HR or related role with at least 1 year of employee relations experience.
- SHRM-CP or PHR Preferred or interest in being certified.
