Job description

The Jr. Developer Intern will have the opportunity to shadow our partner departments, focusing on software development. The Intern will gain experience in coding, testing, and debugging software applications and collaborate with the team to understand project requirements. 

  

This position will report to the IT Transformation office in the Austin, TX, or Somerset, NJ, office location.

Include, but not limited to:  

  • Shadow partner team to understand processes and areas needed for improvement  
  • Develop code to improve applications 
  • Testing and debugging code to enhance functionality  
  • Document code, processes, and project-relation information  
  • Provide updates to management on project milestones 

  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in good academic standing working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or a related field   
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL or C#  
  • Understanding of development and database concepts 

  • Strong coding skills 
  • Ability to test and debug coding 
  • Excellent critical thinking skills

  • Excellent follow-up skills 
  • Strong attention to detail

  • The intern selected will be required to work 40 hours a week over a specified 12-week duration.  

  • The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00/Hr.
