Our client is a respected player in the mid-priced fashion industry, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation. We are hiring a juniOR Account Executive to join their sales and merchandising team. This role is ideally suited for individuals in the early stages of their careers who possess a strong background in sales and a keen interest in professional growth within a collaborative environment. This role is in NYC in the fashion district and in office Monday through Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and enhance client relationships.
- Oversee accounts to ensure optimal service and efficiency.
- Working closely with the sales and merchandising manager and a sales assistant.
- Contribute to inventory management, showroom planning, and other general operational tasks.
- Client Relationship Management. Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring all needs are met and expectations surpassed.
- Sales and Business Development: Proactively identify new business opportunities and bring in valuable contacts to expand the client network.
- Work seamlessly with the sales and merchandising manager and sales assistant, contributing to various operational aspects.
- Account Development: Foster growth and development within existing majOR Accounts.
- Oversee Reporting and Analysis -analyze and present account performance and provide insightful reports and recommendations to the team.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, with a preference for experience in department stores, retail chains, or off-price sectors.
- Established network of industry contacts and a proven track record in account management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with dropship accounts and Amazon is highly beneficial.
- Strong retail math and Excel skills.
