Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team. In this role, you will build and maintain pipe systems in both commercial and industrial settings. You will read blueprints, prepare pipes of various materials and install safely. The ideal candidate is analytical, with attention to detail and experience with pipes of a variety of materials and installations.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
- Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations
- Measure, cut, assemble, lubricate, and install pipes
- Test system functionality
- Repair any leaks or malfunctions
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Work with other construction professionals to complete projects
- Follow all relevant safety guidelines
Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience installing Victaulic Pipe, Fittings and Couplings is required
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objects
- Ability to work overtime when required
