Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on sch10 stainless steel pipe (must pass 6g test prior to hire)
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG welders, torches, and other tools
- Weld and assemble metal parts to fabricate or repair products
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a TIG welder
- Proficient in rigging, welding, and pipe threading techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Skilled in welding various metals, including stainless steel and carbon
- Knowledge of crane operation for moving heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
