Journeyman Industrial Painter / Sandblaster - FULL TIME

MINIMUM QUALIFITACTIONS: 1 year verifiable industrial painting / blasting experience

POSITION SUMMARY: Staging of job materials and supplies for upcoming projects. Safely set-up job-site / work area. Completion of Surface Preparation according to provided manufacturer and supervisor specifications. Apply Paint / Coatings according to manufactures specs and supervisor directions.

Essential job duties include , but are not limited to the following:

• Assist other team members as needed to ensure safe, timely, and quality project completion
• Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Field Job Supervisor, and other team members
• Set-up job-site equipment
• Operate man-lifts, Sandblasting equipment & compressor, Hydro-blasting equipment, paint rigs; airless & conventional.
• Maintain equipment such as paint pumps, paint guns and blast pot.
• Troubleshoot equipment in the field & make repairs as needed.
• Operate all surface prep tools such as sanders, grinders, and sand blasters to properly prepare surface for coatings
• Operate all painting tools such as brush, roller, conventional spray, and airless sprayers to properly apply coatings.
• Responsible for job quality and safety.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

30%-35% travel required.
