Journeyman Network and Computer System Administrator

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software systems - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues - Collaborate with IT team to design and implement network infrastructure - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights - Ensure network security and implement appropriate measures to protect against unauthorized access - Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures - Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field - Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role - Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) - Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL) - Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems - Experience with Pegasystems or other IT infrastructure platforms is a plus - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
