Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician with a valid Washington State 02 journeyman license to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings.

Responsibilities:

- Wire, troubleshoot, and repair main/control circuits in our machinery's electrical panels.

- Install, diagnose, and replace electrical components such as motors, motor controls, PLC's,

power supplies, soft starts, and SEW frequency drives.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of

our machinery and electrical systems.

- Inspect electrical components to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements

- Assist with mechanical installation of machinery and equipment

- Test electrical systems using specialized equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems

- Provide guidance and mentorship to electrical trainees

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries

- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification including valid

02 license

- Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment

- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

- Experience with low voltage systems, logic controllers, and industrial electrical work

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
