We are looking for an experienced Journeyman or Master Electrician for a fast-growing manufacturing facility in Waunakee, WI! This highly innovative company is expected to grow production by 400% in the next 3 years, and your electrical expertise will be essential to ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment.

• Pay rate: $35-40/hr based on experience, time and a half, plus $5/hr for overtime
• Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, no nights or weekends

Responsibilities:

• Lead small/midsized facility electrical projects and assist in the electrical installation
• Participate in the planning and technical development of projects
• Assist the maintenance team in improving the uptime of production equipment/processes
• Help to develop, verify, and update Lock Out Tag Out procedures
• Inspect production equipment/facility electrical systems, and develop corrective actions
• Respond rapidly to electrical safety concerns/incidents
• Inspect production processes and develop ways to make them more efficient
• Conduct work safety and assist with training: Safety, NFPA 70E, Forklift safety, SQF
• Maintain accurate records of completed work
• Adhere to all PPE and GMP requirements

Qualifications:

• High school degree required, bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
• A valid Wisconsin journeyman or master electrician license is required
• 3-5 years of maintenance electrical experience in a manufacturing setting
• Low and high-voltage electrical experience
• A strong understanding of electrical safety requirements and the ability to mentor others
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and installation
• Understanding of SQF practices (safe, quality foods)
• Experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment is desired
