Primary Purpose
Supports ECA LNG, Port Arthur LNG, and Cameron LNG Joint Venture projects as well as future LNG and Net Zero projects.
Ensures successful development, implementation, and management of Joint Venture Services processes and systems, such as the compliance assurance management systems, dashboards, information management repositories to deliver a high-quality Joint Venture management experience. Integrate cross-functional responsibilities to support JV Operations management to ensure compliance with Joint Venture project agreements. Coordinates and oversees asset management reporting and information management activities through all project phases - development, execution, and operations - using project management tools and processes through collaboration with project owners. Gathers information, develops reports, presentations, plans, procedures, and safeguards documents and records for various project needs at different organizational levels.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understands and aids in the JV Ops teams' management of all JVA's contract obligations. Coordinates with the project team to ensure systems are in place for compliance with all contracts throughout the life of the project. Informs project team of contract obligation timelines and monitoring compliance. Works with the project team and/or business unit and Legal, to implement workflows to ensure contract management is addressed efficiently and promptly.
  • Coordinates Joint Venture assurance processes; identifies risks and mitigations; builds consensus on issues and supports venture governance. Collaborates with agreement owners to track and report performance against obligations. Documents assumptions and changes.
  • Manages projects for the acquisition or development of software systems.
  • Manages all aspects of systems analysis, design, development, installation, maintenance, and enhancement for mission-critical application systems. Participates in process and technology re-engineering, analyzes and recommends implementation options.
  • Manages vendors/contractors to assure they deliver the value and services as contracted.
  • Prepares and presents detailed data, analysis, presentations, and reports to project team and management.
  • Ensures supporting the JV Operations team member's project requirements are delivered on time, on budget, with high quality.
  • Develops and implements project management tools and processes for compliance tracking and task completion.
  • Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes. Using tools and templates, prepares and disseminates information regarding contract obligation status, compliance, modifications, etc. Works with JV Ops Managers and Asset Management Specialist to develop and maintain the contract database and manage the contract document repository.
  • Supports roll out of training and tools to Project Teams on process and quality standards and promotes best practices. Provides technical expertise and leadership to other team members with tools and best practices regarding current and new systems.
  • Supports new Joint Venture formation and project transitions from development to execution.
  • Supports recurring and ad-hoc materials for project reporting by gathering information from meetings, management, and experts. Acquires in-depth knowledge of project structure and agreements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Finance/Accounting, Communications, or related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience required.

Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the development and implementation of applications using new and emerging technologies required.
  • 5+ years of experience providing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems required.
  • 5+ years of related oil/gas and/or power industry project management or construction/operations management experience required.
  • 3+ years of project management or asset management experience preferred.
  • Experience with PowerBI Dashboards preferred.

  • Project/Task Management Experience.
  • Ability to analyze project risks and identify their potential impact on the project's financial or schedule performance.
  • Strong facilitation of complex situations.
  • Ability to influence action and build consensus among different stakeholders through effective negotiation.
  • Ability to understand the nuances and details of projects as well as manage and analyze complex contractual obligations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of oil and gas technical terms and acronyms.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Project Management Certification preferred.
