Joint Roller

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Employees in this role will be responsible for processing cured cannabis into pre-rolls, and trimming flower to specific standards set by management. When pre-rolling, the employee will be tasked with processing pop-corn buds and shake (Grinding and removing stems), and packaging this material into Pre-rolls using the Futurolla Knock-Box. This task also requires the employee to package pre-rolls in child resistant tubes, and label according to DOH standards. When trimming flower, employees will be tasked with removing crows feet/excess leaf, and producing the highest quality A-Grade Flower ready for final sale in the dispensary.

Employees must maintain a sanitized work station/environment and will be required to wear gloves, hair net, and a lab coat throughout their shift. Employees will be responsible for measuring and weighing product, product packaging preparation, trimming, and labeling. Employees will also be responsible for counting product and packaging materials, maintaining organized records, general facility clean-up and maintenance and other duties as assigned. This position requires the employee to perform repetitive tasks quickly/efficiently, and be on their feet for multiple hours a day. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing cured cannabis into trimmed A-Grade Flower and Pre-rolls• Counting, weighing, packaging, and labeling of flower and pre-roll products in accordance with company procedures.• Able to work well independently, as well as with others.• Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of cannabis they are working with; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.• Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.• Must be able to follow basic instructions as well as meet production goals.• Must show up on time for work every day ready to work.• Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing marijuana.• Pre-Roll & Packaging staff is responsible for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable transportation• Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.• High school diploma, 1-year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.• Demonstrates a passion for cannabis and production• Trustworthy and hard working• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Strong attention to detail• Available Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs, multiple times, daily• Stoop, kneel and crouch daily• Sit/stand for extended periods of time• Able to perform repetitive motions• Physical tasks including walking, reaching, twisting, and lifting• Capable of performing manual labor tasks on a regular basis
