Job Description
Are you a Task Lead experienced as a Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO)? Then we have an opportunity for you to lead the Joint Interface Control Cell Resiliency (JICC-R) Quick Reaction Test (QRT).
The JICC-RQRT team will test and validate tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) for JICOs and the JICC to detect, respond, and recover from cyber interference on tactical data links (TDL) that negatively impacts tactical data confidentiality, integrity, or availability. JICC-R test products will support future missions within the DOD and benefit the warfighter with net-centric, Space and Missile Defense Systems products that enhance mission execution of the Combatant Commands and JICC assets.
As Task Lead you will lead a team of diverse individuals to:
- Develop, test, and evaluate TTP to combat interference in tactical data link networks from a wide range of potential attacks on TDL networks.

A week in the life of a Task Lead supporting JICC-R QRT:
- Interface with USAF Air Combat Command (ACC)/A3C, Air Force Joint Test Program Office (AFJO), and Director, Operational Test and Evaluation.
- Generate and execute a test plan to demonstrate TTP using Joint Range Extension Applications Protocol (JREAP A,B, & C), Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) and other Link management tools.
- Conduct report development, and coordinate project reviews with Service, interagency, and combatant command entities as necessary.
- Support project Technical Director in execution of assessment requirements.
- Support development and evaluation of test plans and event execution documents.
- Support the team in assessment design, the establishment of measures of performance and evaluation, and subordinate test requirements to ensure proper and successful data collection and analysis.
- Offer risk reduction strategies, risk mitigation plans, and fully document existing processes, project enhancements, and test results.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree with 14 years of relevant experience or High School Diploma with 20 years of relevant experience.
- Secret Clearance
- Operational experience in/as: Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO); Joint Interface Control Cell (JICC); Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC); Combined Air Operations Center Experimental (COAC-X); Joint Forces Air Component Commander (JFACC) / Joint Forces Maritime Component Commander (JFMCC)
- Familiarity with: 6120.01 (series) Joint Multi-TDL Operation Procedure (JMTOP); MIL-STD-6016 (series) Tactical Data Link (TDL) 16 Message Standard; CJSCM 3115.01A Joint Data Network (JDN) Operations
- Knowledge of test planning, data collection, and analysis at the operational and tactical levels.
- Familiarity with test and assessment, operational assessment, demonstration processes, procedures and techniques, design, data collection, and reporting.
