Requirements:
- BLS Certification Required.
- Float Required.
- Epic experience within the last year.
- 2+ years of RN experience required.
- No block schedule requests at this time.
- Scrub Color: Black.
Unit Description: The 36-bed medical/surgical unit operates 24/7, offering nursing care to patients spanning from adolescents (17 years and older) to geriatric individuals requiring hospitalization or nursing intervention. The primary focus encompasses patients with general and surgical needs across various specialties, including but not limited to General Surgery, colorectal surgery, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, Urology, Womens Health, Gynecology, Uro-Gyn, Gyn oncology, plastics, ENT, trauma, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, spinal/neuro overflow.
In addition to surgical cases, the unit addresses obstetrical concerns such as intra-uterine fetal demise, preeclampsia, hyperemesis, pregnant women experiencing substance abuse withdrawal, and diabetic pregnancies.
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5/6
