We are seeking a Jira Administrator to join our team.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining our Jira instance.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure that Jira is meeting their needs and supporting their workflows.
Play a critical role in ensuring that our Jira instance is performing optimally and meets the needs of our growing organization.
Configuring and customizing Jira to meet the needs of various teams and workflows
Creating and maintaining Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, screens, and schemes
Managing Jira permissions and access controls
Troubleshooting Jira issues and providing timely support to users
Developing and maintaining Jira reports and dashboards
Collaborating with various teams to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Providing training to users and promoting best practices for Jira usage
Staying up to date with the latest Jira features and functionalities and applying them to improve our Jira instance.
Ensuring the security and integrity of our Jira instance
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Jira Administrator
Experience with configuring and customizing Jira, including creating workflows, custom fields, screens, and schemes.
Knowledge of Jira permissions and access controls
Experience with Jira reporting and dashboarding
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Jira certification is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer science or a related discipline, at least eight, typically ten or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of eight years' experience application program development, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,300 - $161,600.
