Green Brothers Jewelers was founded in 1946 in Bay City, Texas as a small watch repair shop by two brothers, Felton and Shelby Green. Over the years, the store gradually added jewelry products and services, eventually growing to become the premier jewelry destination for Bay City and the surrounding area. In 1976, sons of Felton, Allen and Gary, took over the family business. A second store was opened in Victoria, Texas, in 1983, and quickly became recognized for its superior quality jewelry and jewelry services.
Today, Green Brothers Jewelers continues our focus on offering an unparalleled jewelry buying experience for our customers Our products include diamonds, the latest designs in bridal and fashion jewelry, pearls, watches and more, and we remain dedicated to offering exceptional jewelry backed by superior service. Over the years, in addition to offering a full jewelry repair service, we have expanded our services to include custom jewelry design. With in-house CAD/CAM capabilities, we can truly help our customers realize that one of a kind ring, pendant, or bracelet of their dreams.

Jewelry Sales Associate
We are looking for responsible, friendly, and highly motivated people who are ready to take on all sales responsibilities from providing exemplary customer service for our customers to nurturing them through the selection and purchasing experience from start to finish. Our ideal candidate will uphold the ideals and standards of our company and will constantly strive to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations. Although not strict requirements for the applicant, direct experience selling fine jewelry, diamond expertise, knowledge of custom design and repair would be desired qualifications. Of equal importance, the Jewelry Sales associate must also have experience connecting with new clients in building and maintaining lifelong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcomes customers into our store.
- Advises customers by providing information on products.
- Sell merchandise to consistently meet or exceed sales expectations.
- Provide outstanding customer service and a high-quality shopping experience to grow customer base
- Become proficient with our Point-of-Sale a & Jewelry Store Software.
- Become proficient in jewelry repair intake analysis and procedures.
- Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards
- Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Understand and utilize policies and procedures to be proficient in handling customer transactions and solving customer service issues appropriately.
- Understand and follow store policies as documented in the Employee Handbook.
- Perform store set up and closing operations, including opening and closing office area and moving jewelry to and from store safe and display areas.
- Perform basic store merchandising, and other required activities to keep store clean, safe, and inviting.
Requirements:
- Listening skills, Customer Service, Achieve Sales Goals, Discovering Customer Needs, Product Knowledge, People Skills, High Energy Level, Dependability, General Math Skills, Verbal Communication, Strong communication & organizational skills required.
- Previous experience preferred by not mandatory.
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
We have a great schedule: Open Tuesday through Saturday. Tuesday to Friday 9:30 to 5:30. Saturday 9:30 to 2pm. Sunday and Monday we are closed. We arrive at 8:30 to prepare the store for the day and we leave by 6pm each night after closing the store. Saturdays we are out by 2:30. Peak season (Christmas) hours are expanded to include Mondays and Saturdays open until 5:30.
