Jet Vac Truck & CCTV Hand
Reports to: Pipeline Maintenance & Inspection Manager
Full Time
Hourly, Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $18-23/ Hour
Purpose
Perform tasks involving Jet Vac& CCTV labor at construction sites. This position involves skilled work assisting with operating high-pressure vacuum/jetter vehicles and CCTV equipment. Responsibilities include cleaning of sanitary and storm sewer systems, performing routine safety checks and maintenance of the vehicle and equipment as necessary. This position will set up video systems and make recordings, put proper wheels on equipment according to pipe size, assisting with setting up vac tubes and hydro excavating and cleaning manhole accesses.

General Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Must be between 21-75 years of age (Over 70 requires an acceptable annual letter of health from a registered doctor or their representative).
Other-
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Basic knowledge of the construction industry,
- Ability to determine the right kind of tool and equipment needed to do a job,
- Commitment to performing quality work while putting safety first,
- Possess a strong sense of personal responsibility and the ability to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Must use cell phone device to clock in and out for shifts and lunches.
PREFERRED:
General-
- High School diploma or GED,
- Great people skills, communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Obtain Flagging card through Lucky Dog Contracting after hire, or maintain flagging certification if certification has already been obtained.

Tasks

- Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.

- Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment or to heat or move materials, such as asphalt.
- Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
- Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools.
- Perform various tasks involving physical labor.
- May operate hand and power tools of all types: measuring equipment, saws, shovels, drills and a variety of other tools and equipment.
- Assist with other crew members in placing pipe, loading and unloading equipment and materials.
- Clean and maintain tools, trucks and equipment.
- Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
