What you will be doing
- Perform FAA FAR145 compliant Repair and Overhaul of Jet Engine fuel system components (valves, pumps, main engine fuel controls and actuators) which includes visual inspections, cleaning, disassembly, inspection, assembly and test functions .
- Strict adherence to Component Maintenance Manuals and other detailed work instructions, performing simple and complex inspections to verify parts meet specifications/ wear limits through utilization of sophisticated mechanical and functional test equipment.
- Works closely with cross functional teams to troubleshoot complex engine controls as needed.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to reduce cost, improve quality and maximize customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
- External candidates must have previous experience with assembly and/or test in a similar manufacturing environment .
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- CI Tier 1 Certification if internal to Woodward; External candidates must achieve within 1 year.
- US - High School Diploma or equivalent.
