Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer service-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional service. You will handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times.
Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner upon entering the store.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
• Maintain a clean and organized cash register area, ensuring that the cash register is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Calculate and issue change to customers accurately.
• Answer customer questions and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure that all transactions are recorded and balanced at the end of each shift.
• Upsell and cross-sell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to cash handling and security procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred, but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and securely.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
