This position is expected to pay $105,00 - $115,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Additional Compensation
Aegis may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
Responsibilities:- Be responsible and accountable for supporting design reviews, developing designs, designing / conducting / documenting unit and system level testing, and implementing custom, mission-unique software packages supporting the MDSEA platform and our space-based, hosted tenant missions.
- Support the development of web-based applications to serve both in-house users and external customers.
- Conduct software unit, integration, developmental, and operational testing.
- Support documentation updates and deliveries.
- Work productively and independently in a fast-paced development and operations environment.
- Support occasional shift work and possible weekend work to support higher-level MDA testing events.
Basic Requirements:
- Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience
- Must have 4 years of related experience in one or more of the following: Software Developer, application integration specialist, or in fields related to enterprise application integration (EAI) experience and/or specific business domain experience
- Must have experience in Linux environments
- Must have experience with Agile development and knowledge of DevOps
- Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
- Must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Have experience with hybrid (virtual and non-virtual) computing network requirements, design, implementation, and deployment
- Have experience with MDA or DoD customers
- Have experience with communication networks (DISN, SIPRNet)
- Have experience working with XML, JMS, application servers, PKI, and MySQL database servers
- Have experience with JavaFX, Persistence and Hibernate
