This role is for an experienced developer who will be developing Margin and Risk Management software . The team develops calculation software which is used by the margin and risk management applications. The users are primarily in collateral operations, counterparty risk operations and risk management. 

Responsibilities: 

- Develop Margin and Risk Management software applications 

- Participate in all phases of software development cycle from initial requirements, implementation and final quality assurance 

- Work with business users and operations team to understand their business needs and address production questions 

- Collaborate with developers in the same team and other teams to achieve development goal 

Requirements      

- Experience of software development, including Java, JavaScript/HTML/CSS (.Net being a plus). 

- Comfortable to work on UNIX (Solaris, Red Hat Enterprise Linux) environment 

- Good knowledge of Oracle and Sybase, Hibernate programming experience with SQL and PL/SQL development 

- Knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income, and other financial product knowledge 

- Knowledge of Margin, Credit and Rates Risk analytics is a plus 

- Knowledge of Prime Brokerage, security finance, or hedge funds a plus
