- Designs new and enhances existing applications
- Strong understanding and experience with web technologies
- Constructs data and process models as may be required to define system functions
- Analyzes functional business requirements and design specifications for developing programs
- Develops analysis and design documentation
- Translates detailed design into computer software
- Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product
- Prepares required documentation
- Enhances software to reduce operating time and/or improve efficiency
- Coordinates closely with Product Owners, other developers, Agency personnel, as needed, to ensure proper development and implementation of program and system specifications
- Provides support for the creation, installation, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of information systems
- Participates in Scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective)
Java Programmer/Analyst Experience
- Programmer/Analyst - requires a minimum of 2 years of current experience in this job class
- Senior Programmer/Analyst - requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in the last 5 years and increasingly complex and responsible experience in this job class

- Primary skill set includes Spring, Struts, EJB, JDBC, Eclipse, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ECMAScript, SQL, Web Services, SOAP, REST, interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal English language proficiency
