Job Description
Honovee is looking for a Java Developer to become an integral part of our team. We are specifically seeking someone to support efforts for development, test and production within a Java environment. Your role will support the creation and delivery of publications and forms that the client makes available to businesses and individual Taxpayers. This position is 100% remote. Responsibilities include:
· Provide technical expertise the task of identifying and implementing modernized applications to meet changing business needs.
· Migrate existing legacy applications and legacy platforms to multi-tier Enterprise Architecture compliant solutions.
· Generate formal requirements documents.
· Design, develop, and test JAVA-based solutions and integration of COTS products.
· Perform code upgrades to applications and maintaining user application manuals and/or administrative manuals.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of Java development experience developing large scale enterprise solutions. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
· US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and Federal Tax compliant
· Current valid IRS Public Trust MBI
· Cloud computing experience
· Adobe Manager Experience
· Proficient in the following skill sets:
o Primefaces/JSF
o RESTful Web Services
o Spring Boot/Spring Framework
o Hibernate
o Oracle
