Japanese/English Translator and Interpreter; ideal candidate will not only be skilled in Japanese/English translation and interpretation, but also have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Japanese and US cultures. This position will require translation/interpretation of Japanese to English, as well as English to Japanese.
Responsibilities:
- Translate speeches and written documentation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese
- Provide oral translation for meetings between Japanese and American associates
Qualifications:
A. Experience
- At least 1-2 years of simultaneous interpreting
- Experience with Microsoft Office - English and Japanese versions
- General erudition and intimate familiarity with Japanese and American cultures
- Extensive vocabulary in both Japanese and English languages
B. Education
- Bachelor's Degree or at least 1-2 of simultaneous interpreting
