Day-to-Day Ownership
- Conduct post-event cleanups to restore spaces to their original condition.
- Monitor the cleanliness and safety of interior and exterior areas, promptly addressing any hazards.
- Maintain the Asana board to track all cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Coordinate scheduled inspections and emergency repairs with external vendors.
- Ensure facilities are well-stocked, clean, and comfortable for occupants.
- Implement weather-preparedness measures and seasonal adjustments.
- Maintain and repair furniture, decorative elements, and structural components.
- Communicate maintenance needs and updates to the Operations Manager.
- Respond promptly to coworker reports of maintenance issues.
- Manage tools and supplies necessary for completing projects.
- Adhere to safety procedures and compliance regulations.
- Calibrate instruments and tools required for job responsibilities.
- Assist with other facilities projects as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, and squat
- Ability to climb heights and onto ladders
- Ability to withstand exposure to varying conditions of noise, sound, temperature, and weather
- Ability to withstand prolonged sitting, standing, or walking
- Ability to safely handle, transport, and operate equipment and power tools
Wednesday-Sunday
Hours: 5am-3pm, hours will vary and open to creating a monthly schedule based on post-event cleaning demand
Vuka’s office is located at 78704 and 78756, this position requires traveling to both locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
