Job Summary
Were looking to hire a hard-working Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our buildings including the interior and exterior of the property. Youll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, and shampooing carpets, in addition to maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and emptying trash. Position a times will call for assistance with projects such as painting, etc.. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

MTTI is a post-secondary career training institute located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. At MTTI, we train students with the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the workforce in nine different areas of technology; ranging from Automotive to Medical. Our goal is to offer quality, hands-on, education to qualified individuals who are unemployed or underemployed, and assist them in entering training-related employment. Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the interior and exterior of the property
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
- Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
- Wipe up spills and other hazards
- Notify management of necessary repairs
- Assist the maintenance staff as needed with projects
- Landscaping duties and seasonal activities, including snow removal, cutting grass and raking leaves.
- Travel between the sites will be required, two locations are in Seekonk and one in East Providence.
- At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
- Drivers license and reliable transportation to and from the worksites.
- Excellent stamina and physical health
- Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
