Custodian/Janitor – Part Time
$16.50 - 17.50 DOE
ServiceMaster, the nation's leader in the janitorial and commercial cleaning is seeking to fill multiple Part Time and Full Time positions. Several positions are available with most being in the evenings and midday. ServiceMaster is accepting applications for part-time and full -time Hourly Custodians.
This is an hourly position. We have daytime and evenings, as well as a blend of both for the right candidate. The Hourly Custodian performs custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness and care of facilities within assigned area.

Minimum Qualification: Minimum age of 18.
Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED – Minimum of 6 months of employment experience - Ability to read/write/follow written/oral instructions – Ability to work independently & in a team environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds – Bending at the waist; kneeling and squatting/stooping; repetitive arm/hand movement; standing for extended periods of time.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making pay rate decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licenses and certifications; and other business and company needs. At ServiceMaster, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and pay rate decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

JOB PROFILE: Clean and sanitize restrooms/shower rooms and fixtures in accordance with established procedures and standards; refill restroom dispensers; Clean desks and office work areas; dust and wipe furniture; sweep, mop or vacuum floors; empty wastebaskets, trash, and recycle containers; replace light bulbs; Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools such vacuum, broom, mop, squeegee, ladder for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture; Follow written and/or verbal instructions regarding the use of cleaning products, supplies and equipment; comply with safety policies and procedures. Candidates may be subject to a Criminal History Background Check as a condition for consideration of employment. As a condition of employment, new employees must provide acceptable proof of identity and employment eligibility.
