Janitorial Staff is responsible for maintaining clean facilities throughout the property.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls daily
• Clean and disinfect restrooms on hourly basis
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones on hourly basis
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Clean up spills when required
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Notify supervisors of major repairs needed
• Training other employees as needed

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

· High School Diploma or completion of GED preferred by not required.

Experience

• 1+ years of commercial cleaning

Specialized Knowledge

· Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners

Skills / Abilities

· Good communication skills

• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds.
• Good organization skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to use basic cleaning equipment

· No professional certifications required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour
