Overview
Manages and oversees custodial actions for about 100 facilities located at three geographically separated sites. Directs and manages a 60-80 person work force daily to include administrative functions, training, and completion of assigned tasks. Manages specific operations for special events or emergencies. The position provides support to the Operations Flight meeting the requirements of the Maxwell Base Operation Support (BOS) contract. Physically able to perform, communicate and direct co-workers in various cleaning tasks in multiple facilities. This person should have self-vehicular transportation in order to perform assigned tasks and be able to work in close partnership and professionalism with customers, co-workers and supervision consistently providing service “with a smile.” The services provided shall ensure quality work in accordance with company and government policies and procedures. Must have vehicle to travel between buildings on the base. Must have and maintain valid driver’s license. Responsibilities
Meet with customers to provide guidance for task completion or other issues.
Review, Analyze, and Prepare work schedules
Visit job sites to perform quality checks and direct improvements and changes required.
Conduct Safety training, meetings, evaluations, and inspections.
Determine and acquire future material, tools, equipment, and personnel requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional and mission requirements.
Qualifications
Experience
Manage daily activities of a 60 - 80 person workforce performing custodial functions.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Five (5) years Supervision/Managerial experience in Janitorial Services
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Skills
Excellent communication and people skills.
Basic computer skills required.
Knowledge of cleaning processes, safety standards, quality checks, etc.
Ability to lead, coach, and motivate employees also giving general direction and guidance
