Janitorial Part -Time Position Open

Covenant Buildings, LLC is looking for a responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented, part -time associate for their Janitorial Division. The open position is approximately 10-15 hours per week Monday-Friday after 5 pm and Saturday with more flexible timing. All applicants must have reliable transportation as our job sites vary per day of the week. Custodial experience is appreciated but not required. Please read the full job description below.

Job Description for Janitorial Specialist

The main responsibilities of the Janitorial Specialist are to help maintain the consistent performance of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning requirements. Additional duties include:

1. Training of other janitorial personnel.
2. Monitor and re-stock cleaning supplies, as well as notify the person responsible for re-ordering when restroom supplies and liners are low.
3. Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and in proper working order and notify Supervisor of defective equipment to be repaired.
4. Substitute for absentee coverage to help complete the day-to-day basic janitorial duties.
5. Ensure all basic janitorial operations have been completed by the end of the night by any means at his/her discretion.
6. Ensure that all complaints by clients and/or upper management are corrected and/or completed by the next scheduled cleaning or sooner.
7. Any Clients requests for “Additional Cleaning” must be Pre-approved by Covenant if not part of the Specification Sheet or your time may not be paid.
8. Clients’ areas are kept clean and free of any janitorial supplies and to correct any complaints.
9. Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from job and job sites.
10. All time off must be approved by the supervisor and owner at least two (2) weeks in advance, except in case of an emergency.
11. Consumption or possession of alcohol or drugs are not allowed on any company job or on any company time and will be grounds for immediate termination.
12. Absolutely no family or friends are allowed on the job site.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
