Janitorial Site Trainer (Floater)

The Janitorial Site Trainer supervises clients with disabilities performing janitorial or business services in a government setting. They participate in evaluating clients' work behavior and overall performance. The Janitorial Site Trainer ensures compliance with site-based assigned contractual statement of work and is responsible for all client documentation. This person will: 

• Comply with JCFS Chicago's contractual responsibilities related to tasks and frequency of tasks as outlined in statement of work to assigned government contract site(s). 
• Assign and instruct participants in specific tasks. Observes and records performance in direct and soft skills, including quality of work, attendance, punctuality, personal hygiene, productivity, etc.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized program plans that prepares participants to achieve the highest level of employment development. 
• Maintain and manage equipment to full usage. Orders supplies while maintaining site budgets. Maintains inventory and security of equipment and supplies. Ensures proper use of equipment and supplies by participants.
• Produce required Agency and/or contractual documentation/reports. 

 Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum 3-6 months of janitorial experience.
• Supervisory and experience working with adults with disabilities, preferred.
• Knowledge, familiarity and ability to use Microsoft Suite and other software programs.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle, possess a valid driver’s license, and have reliable transportation to locations that may not be accessible via public transportation.
