Janitorial Team Crew Member

KBS is looking for highly motivated, high energy Crew Members that can perform general cleaning duties in a warehouse environment. Crew Members also provide assistance to staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary.

This is an hourly, non-exempt, Full-time position. Se Habla Español.

Supervision: The Crew Member position reports to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Shift Lead.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Cleans assigned warehouse sections, hallways, restrooms, locker room areas, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweeping, mopping of floors throughout the warehouse, breakrooms, and office areas.
• Regularly check the trash and emptying as needed in all areas of the site.
• Collect and separate recycling items into proper receptacles.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and other items throughout site.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the restrooms.
• Complete cleaning logs, as directed that are posted on site.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Report work accomplished orally or on written work order to supervisor daily.

Experience:

• No experience needed, but experience is a plus! Will Train!

Requirements:

• Ability to follow directions and able to communicate with team members and supervisors.
• Able to perform duties as assigned.

Physical Demands (must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Occasionally push and pull wheeled maid carts, pallet jacks, dollies as needed.
• Walking in and around the facility 10 hours a day; some sites are over a quarter mile in length.
• Ability to climb stairs safely and without limitation.
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours daily.

Environmental Conditions:

• The warehouse site environment may have varying temperatures, varying workstations. The noise level is usually moderate.
• Some sites are over a quarter mile in length.
• Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.

_- 1st Shift 6am to 3:30pm at $16/hr.
- 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:30pm at $16/hr.
- 3rd Shift 10pm to 6:30am at $15/hr._

This is not a temporary position. This is a FULL TIME position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
