Janitorial Associate

SupplyHouse.com, a rapidly growing e-commerce company in the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC space, is looking for a Janitorial Associate to join our New Jersey Fulfillment Center! If you are looking for a career that will allow you to grow, we want to hear from you!

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Shift: Wednesday through Saturday, from 8:00am to 6:30pm EST

Salary: $20/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring warehouse and office environments remain clean and tidy by removing excess debris, plastics, trash, etc. as needed.
• Sweeping the fulfillment center on a routine basis and disposing of excess debris and broken pallets properly and safely.
• Keeping stock of all supplies, including but not limited to, cleaning supplies and materials, bathroom, and kitchen supplies, etc.  
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment such as carts, mop heads, vacuums, etc.  
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, team leads, and managers.
• Communicate regularly with management as well as other departments with any questions that may come up.
• Receive training for any required machine operation(s) and how to properly maintain and service said machinery. 
• Adhering to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• All other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Team Lead and/or SupplyHouse.com management.   

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  equivalent

• Ability to lift and carry items 10-50Ibs. All members are expected to seek help if an item is over 50lbs or if the weight limit that can be lifted is reached. 
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to transport material (I.e. electric pallet jack, forklift, reach truck, order picker, etc.)
