All Island Maintenance is looking to hire Part-time Janitor and housekeeping professionals who enjoy keeping things clean and tidy! Minimal experience helpful but willing to train the right individual!
Our facilities division is expanding, and we are on the lookout for experienced part-time janitors / housekeepers who can work on-site for a busy event style venue in Honolulu. Our team helps to maintain brand cleaning standards in a beautiful facility hosting concerts to local gatherings, meeting to weddings. From ten to thousands of guests from all over the world, you are part of a work environment filled with fun and exciting memories.
Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling and other duties as assigned.
Ensure restrooms are clean, well-stocked, and presentable throughout the events.
Set up and break down event spaces, including arranging chairs, tables, and equipment as needed.
Monitor and maintain supplies and inventory levels, reporting any shortages or issues to the supervisor.
Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and other cleaning emergencies during events.
Collaborate and communicate with team, Leads and Management to ensure a clean and safe environment for attendees.
Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Requirements:
Some experience required, however anyone willing to learn are welcome to apply. Training provided.
Ability to work flexible hours, events change weekly. Shifts can start at early as 6am and evening functions can run until 12am.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills. Must be comfortable with using a hand-held radio.
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
