Janitor/Cleaner (Part-Time)

KEY RESULTS AREAS:

• The interior and exterior of assigned SACA-Owned facility IS maintained in top condition.
• Exterior (SDC Property) trash clean up, daily.
• Buffing Floors.
• Various tasks as required by the supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stopping and handling of equipment and materials.
• Performing and Documenting Janitorial activities.
• Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify Supervisor of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Order supplies by the 15th of every month.
• Buff all areas once a month.
• Fill out a daily time card and allocation to be handed to your supervisor every 2 weeks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Training or Certification:

Less than high school education, some related experience or training.

Experience:

One to 3 years' experience in janitorial work

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, short notes and memos. Ability to write basic notes and memos. Ability to discuss job related information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables and the need to deal with exceptions and changes in normal job related situations.

Certificates, licenses, registrations:

Pa Driver's License.

Other skills and abilities, including computers, tools, equipment, technical knowledge: Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Should be dependable, trustworthy, have good work ethics and be a team player.
