POSITION SUMMARY
BYLT, LLC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to ensure the safety and functionality of our company’s grounds, buildings, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections to meet safety regulations and coordinating building renovations and updates. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will oversee and manage the overall cleanliness of BYLT HQ.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
- Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors
- Removes and disposes trash from all areas
- Cleaning and stock restrooms
- Reorder cleaning supplies and equipment
- Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
- Respond prompt to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs as needed
- Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendor
- Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for Executive Team
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions
- Collaborating with building owners and Executive team on budgeting for facilities needs
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of facility maintenance and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Manage basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial duties
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance issues
- Strong problem-solving and decision- making skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Knowledge in Facilities Management or a related field
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
