A Day in the Life of:

As a member of our team, you will report to the Janitorial Supervisor. You will move around to cover absences of other custodians at one of our four locations. You may also be asked to travel to where we have specific custodial projects. This person will maintain the assigned facilities in a clean and orderly condition as scheduled and according to the pre-determined standards. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums hallways, stairs, office space, etc.
• Empties all trash receptacles and replaces trash can liners as needed
• Restocks all supplies as needed in all restrooms
• Cleans surfaces, sinks, toilets, urinals, and mirrors/glass
• Notifies janitorial supervisor of supplies and equipment that are needed
• Completes daily housekeeping checklist

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel between our four facilities as needed. Mileage will be reimbursed
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Janitorial experience or experience in cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities/buildings in a manner that meets job expectations
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
