Job Description:

Are you looking for a reliable and rewarding opportunity as a Janitorial Cleaner? We have a fantastic opening at the United States Postal Service (USPS) facility in New London, NC. As a Janitorial Cleaner, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our small post office clean and welcoming for both employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Keep the post office tidy and well-maintained through daily cleaning tasks.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in public areas and staff zones.
• Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms.
• Dust surfaces, including desks, shelves, and fixtures.
• Empty trash bins and replace trash bags as needed.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used and stored properly.
• Notify the supervisor of any repair or maintenance needs for cleaning equipment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during cleaning duties.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility.

Requirements:

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Available to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, within the cleaning window from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent cleaning results.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with a positive attitude.
• Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
• Applicants must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening. No exceptions.
