Job description

Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join a high-performance team to support the Combined Joint Task Force - Space Operations J4 located at various facilities in Colorado Springs, Colorado providing facility planning and management and civil engineering related support for multiple facilities.
What you will be doing:
    • Performing monthly readiness assessments and reporting to establish a uniform system for evaluating the preparedness of CJTF-SO to carry out assigned missions.
    • Operating Readiness Management and support/reporting systems such as the Defense Readiness and Reporting System (DRRS).
    • Serving as a J4 representative/liaison in the Joint Operations Center (Future Ops Cell or Joint Logistics Operations Center) and providing civil engineering support and reporting to J4 government representatives.
    • Providing technical advice and assistance to J3 and J5 on reliability, resiliency, endurability and survivability of real property installed equipment (RPIE), primarily power and HVAC.
    • Working long range plans as well as ongoing short-term projects for Component HQ beddown.
    • Performing program management duties across the spectrum of civil engineer functions and as applied to CJTF-SO missions.
    • Using computer aided design (CAD) tools to compile space requirements for submission to facilities utilization processes and recommending office layouts and office moves.
    • Completing limited admin duties to include preparing and reviewing internal/external documents and managing assigned taskings using the Task Management Tool (TMT) and coordinating with action officers to ensure they are aware of assigned tasks and due dates.
What you will need:
    • Ability to analyze situations and make well informed recommendations.
    • Excellent communicator and effective team member.
    • Ability to present briefings, discuss and coordinate problems and recommend solutions.
    • Expertise with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
    • Strong organizational and Planning skills.
    • Bachelor's Degree in a civil engineering related discipline or 10-15+ years relevant combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
    • Experience with scheduling and budgeting office moves and reconfiguration.
    • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $125,000-$135,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Delta Solutions & Strategies considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
