Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness of treatment
- Assess patient's condition and response to treatment, and make necessary adjustments to medication or treatment plan
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- Proficiency in administering dermal fillers and spinal taps
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and protocols
- Ability to triage patients based on their condition and prioritize care accordingly
- Experience in providing care for toddlers, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and addressing common childhood illnesses
- Competence in inhalation therapy techniques for patients with respiratory conditions
- Skill in phlebotomy for blood sample collection and analysis
- Proficient in ostomy care for patients with colostomies or ileostomies
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and the unique needs of elderly patients
