Job description

Position Summary: Provides hardware and software maintenance of personal computers and workstations, ensuring that employees can properly complete their assigned tasks; produces scheduled reports and maintains computer equipment asset inventories.

Schedule:

  • Tues 9-5
  • Wed 9-5
  • Thurs 9-5
  • Fri 12-8
  • Sat 12-8

1. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established Company Policy, State and Federal regulations.

2. Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests.

3. Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for team members.

4. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with Company policy and state regulations.

5. Maintains security and always protects Company assets by adhering to Company policies and all state and regulatory compliance including Internal Controls Policies and Procedures, The Responsible Gaming Plan and Title 31, and performs all job duties in a safe, professional and responsible manner..

6. Maintains the daily activities of the MIS department in the absence of the Manager as subject to established company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.

7. Creates and maintains file back-ups as scheduled or requested.

8. Produces system reports as scheduled or requested.

9. Maintains an accurate, up-to-date asset inventory of all computer-related equipment.

10. Maintains computer user access files.

11. Provides computer training classes.

12. Assists, guides, and instructs employees on functions of the computer as required.

13. Prepares daily reports as required by Company policies and procedures, and state gaming regulations.

14. Maintains a clean and safe environment.

15. Effectively handles guests and team members concerns and requests.

16. Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor. Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.

17. Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.

18. Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member’s department.

19. Take on and manage various projects as assigned in order to aid in achievement of evolving Company goals and objectives.

20. Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.

21. Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.

22. Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

24. Assist HHR Department as directed.

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree plus two years related experience and/or training ; or other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

- Required competencies include initiative, time management, decision-making, communication proficiency and organizational skills.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, or equivalent applications and menu driven programs is required. Knowledgeable in creating spread sheets or similar data reporting.

- Ability to work in an environment at times exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels and varied light levels including flashing lights.

- Must be able to formulate and communicate ideas and to make independent decisions.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses, certifications, and indemnifications requisite to the successful completion of all essential responsibilities.

- Must meet or exceed all regulatory conditions stipulated for individuals holding this or similar positions.
