Job Overview
Catalyte has a proven track record of developing talent in Software development, Digital Media, IT Services and more. We're expanding our IT Services offering and we're looking for an experienced IT professional to lead the execution of the development program across multiple cohorts.
You will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day development of our IT apprentices and ensure they are set up for success to enter into IT careers. You will be curating online development resources, conducting lectures and/or group discussions of the material and checking in with apprentices regularly to ensure the material is resonating. You will assign and monitor all individual and group assignments, answering any questions and ensuring timely completion against a deadline. You will be responsible for grading all planned assessments as well as monitoring an individual's progress throughout the program. You must be comfortable assessing individual skill sets based on the graduation criteria and mentoring/coaching them accordingly over the duration of the program. You must be comfortable managing a team - conducting regular 1:1s, providing actionable feedback and evaluating both technical and non-technical skills to determine if apprentices should successfully graduate the development program.
A proven history of success in Network Technician, System Administration or IT Technician roles is key, as providing real world, on-the-job scenarios for these specific roles during development is vital.
You believe in Catalyte's mission of:
Aptitude over pedigree. Our apprentices prove that success can't be measured by degrees, but by grit, skills and ability.
Opportunity for all. It doesn't matter what you've done, but what you can do. We give opportunity to those previously overlooked by traditional hiring methods
A representative workforce. The American workforce should look like America. Our apprentices represent the true diversity of this country across race, gender, age, location, education, life experience and economic background.
This role is a contract position with the potential to convert to full time employment.
