POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Technical Analyst - Plant IT/Manufacturing Service Managementwho will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing locations by delivering technology services that enable plant and local office personnel to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.

This is an exciting time to join Welch's and be part of our Information Technology Team supporting our manufacturing and local office teams as part of our transformational digital agenda.


WHERE YOU'LL WORK:

This role will be based out of our North East, PA manufacturing plant and regularly supports two other locations in Westfield, NY.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Deliver and support key plant technology services such as access control, security cameras, audio visual capabilities, and the support of annual harvest activities across all manufacturing facilities. You will also support all IT services locally working closely with the company's Service Desk and Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) teams.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Coordination and implementation of all IT Service Management initiatives for Welch's plants and local National remote offices including A/V support for Board meetings
  • Configure, maintain and troubleshoot a range of hardware assets including desktops, servers, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile phones, handheld scanners and other peripherals
  • Daily management of toolsets including ticketing, asset management, image and deployment, patching, backups, endpoint protection and security
  • Support a mix of software and applications including Windows desktop and server OS, M365 Suite, Active Directory
  • Manage and support plant systems including barcode scanning hardware and other IT/OT services including support of future farm/grower technologies
  • Accountable for the successful implementation of our Collaboration Program, Service Desk transition, visitor and emergency broadcast systems
  • Participate as a critical incident coordinator in rotation with greater IT team
  • Create and maintain plant systems documentation

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science, business management, or other related fields. An equivalent combination of education and experience that proves competence in role may be considered.
  • 2+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong preference for IT Operations, Infrastructure, IT Support or other technical IT area within a large/complex organization
  • IT Experience supporting a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Operational Technology (OT) experience is preferred
  • Proven skills in IT Infrastructure, project and process management.
  • Ability to commute and support multiple local plants/offices in the North East, PA and Westfield, NY areas
  • Ability to support a 24/7 operation providing coverage and support for multiple plants and provide off-hours support as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20%
