Provides support to operational computer networks in a manner that effectively aligns with corporate goals by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Printer setup and maintenance
Installs Windows OS and Windows products
Provide device connectivity support for cell phones, notebooks, etc.
Provides users with advanced technical support.
Installs and tests necessary software and hardware
Operates the Help desk when Level 1 technician is unavailable and on assigned shifts
Enters and updates requests into Help Desk software to show progress and completion of assigned tasks.
Enters Purchase Orders and communicates with vendors to purchase various computer and phone equipment.
Responsible for Inventory and labeling of various PC and Network equipment.
Assists Network Engineers with cabling, testing and labeling.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months related experience.
Experience with Hyper V and VMWARE/ESCi is a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient with MS Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams), Adobe Reader and have the ability to touch type at least 35 WPM.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
