Job Description:
The Systems and Services Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Windows servers and Services infrastructure, and managing the desktop support team that includes the PC / Apple Technician, and A/V staff. Assists with the planning and management of the college's computing environment including planning for new applications; the installation, configuration, and management of servers; Windows services security and disaster recovery audits; troubleshooting and resolving problems related to the computing environment and Services. This includes servers, classrooms and labs, employee computers, and desktop support.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Manage all Windows Servers in various campus locations.
- Manage all software in various campus labs.
- Manage software licensing.
- Manage desktop support to the college community.
- Supervise PC Technician staff.
- Ensure best practices are implemented and followed.
- Document all above plans, items, devices, procedures, etc.
- Help users with system problems.

Requirements:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Required Experience & Education:
- A four-year degree in computer science, information systems, or related major.
- Preferred certification (optional): MCSE, MCIE, ITIL
- Three years of experience administrating Windows servers.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to work in an office setting sitting, standing, and walking on a regular basis.
- Use of office equipment including computers, printers, copiers with lifting of less than 20Ib occasionally to fill machines or move files.
