IT Systems Administrator II

We are looking for a IT Systems Administrator II that will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and monitoring of Active Directory and Azure infrastructures, projects, and technologies. The IT Systems Administrator II will collaborate with team members to ensure that all new and existing cloud technologies are successfully deployed and maintained.
The IT Systems Administrator II will:
- Design, Implement, monitor, and manage Active Directory and Related Microsoft technologies in the GECU environment
- Design, Implement, monitor, and manage Azure storage and Azure Cloud Servers
- Be a bridge between IT Operations and IT Infrastructure as part of the IT Infrastructure Team
- Provide high-level escalation support and troubleshooting
- Monitor and back up on-prem servers and Azure resources
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Manage Group Policy Objects/Intune configuration profiles
- Ability to deploy solutions via PowerShell/PowerApps
- Support projects firsthand, providing analysis/Microsoft applications knowledge
- Accept special projects and assignments as needed
- Support related vulnerability resolution as identified/requested by Information Security
- Ensure all IT Change Management Policies/Procedures are followed
- Work closely with the networking team in planning, implementing, and troubleshooting infrastructure
- Must understand and comply with all regulations and ITIL best practice compliance
- Troubleshoot escalations from the IT Support team and other Systems Administration team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required education and experience:
- Associate degree in IT/Computer Science, or comparable field experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure administration
- Experience with virtual networking, Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) required, PowerShell preferred
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN/VDI remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is preferred
Required capabilities, and skills:
- Must be able to speak and understand fluent English
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware and software, including hosts and virtual environments.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
