IT Support Specialist Full time position in the IT department. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, overtime as-needed. Essential Functions: Provide technical assistance & training to computer system users Investigate & resolve computer software issues (printing, email, operating systems, etc.) Support and maintain computer hardware including, but not limited to, personal computers, switches, routers, and terminals.
Support will include replacing hardware at various manufacturing plant areas Provide support for computer systems in remote locations (branches, territory sales reps, etc.) as needed Order, set up and install new workstation computer systems, including installing and configuring software as needed Provide IT support for for plant security systems Responsible for Active Directory user creation Manage Office 365 user access with a knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Manage network security access and file access permissions Work with company's Managed Service Provider on escalated support issues and new projects Desired Skills & Experience: Must have knowledge of a wide range of Windows operating systems Must have the ability to communicate well with others Must be self motivated Must be able to work alone AND with others Must have good phone communication skills and ability to learn multi-phone system Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week, if needed Must be able to work with multiple departments Must be a high detail oriented person with good organization skills To learn more about this employment position with Grasshopper, including descriptions and requirements, please contact the Human Resources Department.
