We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our medical office team as an IT Support/Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the IT infrastructure across three locations. Key responsibilities include managing computers, VoIP phones, printers, door security access systems, and scanners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure Management: Ensure the smooth operation of computers (PC & Mac), VoIP phones, printers, door security access systems, and scanners at all three locations. Will be responsiable for setting up virtual services for remote staff access.
2. Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
3. System Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard sensitive medical data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Network Administration: Manage and optimize network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure reliable access to essential medical applications. This includes SonicWall VPNs for Site-to-site and Client-to-Site (15 remote users) access.
5. Vendor Coordination: Work closely with IT vendors to procure necessary equipment, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
6. Training and Documentation: Conduct training sessions for staff on IT best practices, and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and procedures.
7. Emergency Response: Develop and implement contingency plans for IT emergencies, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support and management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with medical software and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
