It Solution Architect - Now Hiring

IT Solution Architect- The IT Solution Architect mngs tech change across VNS Health organization-wide, to meet business objectives & maximize value of investments in data solutions. Will assess & analyze data solution alternatives & cost-performance trade-offs to simplify our apps landscape & reduce total cost of ownership for data solutions across the enterprise. Will use broad knowledge of VNS Health info systems, incl cloud-based resources, data warehouses, infrastructure domains, use of existing & emerging platforms, processes, & systems architecture to define tech problems, ensure that immediate & long-term business needs are met, & outline potential solutions, in collaboration w/ leaders of IT dept & Business Intelligence & Analytics. This role reqs maintaining state-of-the-art professional knowledge of current IT trends & dvlpmnts generally, healthcare data workflow systems trends specifically, & knowledge specific to VNS Health such as domain models, vendor roadmaps, & systems architecture blueprints, so as to educate tech teams & business unit stakeholders, & minimize tech debt. Will present proposed solution designs for assigned projects to Architecture Review Board; contributes to tech innovation in the R&D pipeline via continuous collaboration w/ cross-functional teams, & w/ external vendors, to customize third-party solutions. Reports to Assoc Director, Data Architecture Services. This position is fully remote: may work from home anywhere in U.S.; onsite meetings at VNS Health red 2x/yr. Annual salary is $147,000. Reqs: Master's in CompSci, MIS, Electronics Engg or rel field, + 2 yrs exp in Data & Cloud engg & solutions design, applying various architecture viewpoints incl apps, infrastructure, data quality, integration & security.
